11/26/2022 0 Comments Ps2 super robot wars english patchThe first game in the franchise was released for the Nintendo Game Boy on the 20th April, 1991. The main feature of the franchise is having a story that crosses over several popular mecha anime, manga and video games, allowing characters and mecha from different titles to team up or battle one another. It's one of my favorite stages of all the SRW games ever.ĭefinitely a fun game, even if they missed a few chances for real interesting stuff or great ideas.Super Robot Wars is a series of tactical role-playing video games produced by Banpresto, which is now a Japanese division of Namco Bandai. Stage 40 is pretty awesome, for those that haven't played it yet. Leeron and Bobby talk about how Baron Ashura is "like them", the Gundam pilots all debate together whether or not they can become Gundam, Setsuna and Heero's first meeting nothing but "." for like five screens each. I'm on stage 50 now, and there's some great stuff in it. Then kill however many things attack her via counter attacks. And with the way I got her set up, she has Hit & Away and Continuous Attack, so she can kill two things a turn and go across the entire map on turn one. If it's anything less than a boss, she'll one hit KO it. And I barely use him! Moreover, I haven't upgraded him!Īnother stupendously powerful unit is Kallen in her Gurren mark 2. So, with that, even on just 6 or 7 maps.he's still in my top 10 for amount of enemies killed. I've skipped the routes he's on, going for super robot (Gurren Lagann, Mazinger, etc) routes all on my first play through. How nasty? I don't use him, unless it's required by the story, or I got so many units to put on a map that he's next in line (Currently he's 21st in terms of levels for my army, so that means if there's 20 or less I choose, he sits out, for me). If you'd like to know what series are in this iteration, here's a list:Ĭhirico is pretty nasty alright. Having to kill all enemies on nearly all stages, Dai-Guard and several others having double money skills, and the suborders for more money makes moola nice and easy this time around, finally.Īnd considering how many mecha you'll have in here, that's a good thing. I'm only around stage 15, and I already got a fully upgraded Blaster (the original guy's mecha), 20% upgrades on Mazinger and Getter, and about 50% on Gurren Lagann. Sub orders (what I was talking about) lets you choose 5 characters in 4 things (Each gets 500 XP, each gets +2 kills, each gets +20 PP, or take total levels x 500 and earn that money) so even your useless/hated people provide for your army. I like some of the new changes to the game play, like the fact that you can use characters you didn't use the last stage on simulators and such to keep everyone up to date. Great series list (barring, of course, a few I couldn't care less about). Who else has it? Who else is getting it? I'm loving it myself.
